is there a dif in d15 blocks
i know all ef d15's are the same as far as the block is concerned. the dx, hf, std, and lx all were 1493cc. i'm pretty sure that all the cranks and rods were the same too. the only difference i know of off the top of my head is that the hf pistons only had 2 valve reliefs because of only having 8 valves while the dx, lx, and i believe the std all had 4 valve reliefs.
i just found this info on another site.
1992 Honda Civic Hatchback US Model Info
DX
Stroke 3.54"
Bore 2.95"
VX & CX
Stroke 3.33"
Bore 2.95"
1993, 1994, 1995 Honda Civic Hatchback US Model Info
DX, VX, & CX
Stroke 3.33"
Bore 2.95"
I don't know how acurate it is but that's what they posted as the engine specs.

Pretty much the same. Here is a little PDF I put together with some info I found on different sites. Text is blurry but readable. There is a few D16 engines so do not confuse those...
