Default losing power with mpfi swap.. help pleaes

i did the mpfi swap on my d15b1 a few weeks ago and it ran great. then i noticed the fuel rail had a small leak by the fuel dampner or the nut the tightens down on the fuel rail. i took it off and noticed that i had one of the washers mixed up. so i fixed all of that and now it runs but when i give it gas and put a load on it, it loses power and sounds really deep? a friend said it could be fuel pump? and i already changed the fuel filter and that actually made it worse? help please. also i have a new pump just its snowing out so if i dont need to change it yet i dont want to lol..

Sounds like your timing? Has that been correctly adjusted?

it's not gonna be your fuel pump i don't think. it's either gonna work or not work. if it's working then your car will start, if not then it won't. there's no really in between with those things. check some simple things first like maybe your spark plugs. if your timing is off like ~sp33~ suggested then maybe you fouled them out or something which would make your car run sluggish.

ya it probably is the timing cuz i took the dizzy off and when i put it back on i could barley get the car to move. but since then i retimed it and now it runs just gettin up to speed on the freeway is slow. it also threw code 1. thats the o2 sensor right? would that be from it not being in time?

Where you setting the ignition timing? Or your valve timing?

If it was running fine beforehand then i doubt it's off now. Do you have a timing light? If not just try adjusting the dizzy a bit then go for a drive, see if things improve.
