So i just picked up a 94 eg, swapped a d16zc back into it cause it had no engine, and now i have a few problems, and 9 days to fix them all for a inspection.
a little info, its a 94 5 speed vtec not hooked up


1. Car bogs down. Drives fine at higher rpm

2. cluster lights up, but no needles move, nor odometer

3. No blinkers, reverse lights work, nor wipers, but hazzards do.

Any help at all is really appreciated cause within those 9 days i only have one day off.

check your fuses first, if thats not the problem then make sure that all the sensors all plugged in, what about a check engine light?

 

no check engine light but then again no lights come on besides the reg light up lights (if that makes sense)
Im looking for a map of the fuses for under dash and will check in morn.

Also found a loose brown wire under dash. Im thinkin car had a alarm system at one point.

 

damn thats quite a list of crap there well anyway I think I will try and help with all your light issues and then we can move on from there just cause I like to start with the easy crap first. so lets start with a diagram

the letters D and E go out to the lights and the letters B and C also go out to the lights but splice in somewhere down the line. Now being that the hazzards work then you know the majority of the circut is good so the first thing I would do is jump on the grn\orng wire at the turn sifnal switch and see if you can see voltage jumping up and down as if they blinkers were on or not and make sure that the key is in the on pos. then if you do see voltage move around there then get on the grn\blu wire and hit the left turnsignal and see if you see it there and then do the same for the right but get on the green\yel. either way that should give you a pretty good start. I will check back to see what your results are and go furthor if need be

i just took a better look under the dash, and there was deff a alarm system hooked up, and just torn back out..

wires are hanging everywheres, some audio wires were used,
does anyone happen to have a under dash diagram? cause i have audio wire running from the fuse box all the way to the passenger side fender?

also white wire snipped on ecu
