Default New Clutch question

I will be putting in a new clutch on my 01' ex sedan. It has 103k and I think the last one was put in at 50k . This car is a daily driver and not modified and never will be. Should I get an aftermarket or go with an oem honda clutch? I want long life. I will be getting a flywheel too.

I have to let it out really far before it grabs and it chatters abit. It still holds fine and doesnt' slip at all

You don't need anything special. An OEM spec replacement should be sufficient.

Honda uses Exedy/Daikin as original equipment; you can save a lot of money by buying what are essentially the same parts aftermarket from Exedy rather than from Honda. A stock replacement Exedy/Daikin clutch is inexpensive and reliable.

If it still holds fine without slippage, I'd continue driving on it for now. Mild chatter is just an annoyance caused by hot spots or warpage of the flywheel and pressure plate; it won't keep the clutch from functioning.

Hahaha, is there an echo in here?

OEM spec replacement .. ... .. stock replacement .. ... ..

You did go a little deeper into detail, though. Which may keep him from buying one from a Honda stealership.
