Weird problem after motorswap
Alright so heres the story, I just bought my 3rd DA integra, a 1990 black GS. When I test drove it everything drove fine and worked great. About 200 miles down the road I started hearing a weird noise coming from the drivers side of the motor, I pop the hood and see the crank pulley about to fly off. I end up taking it off and finding out someone didn't put they key back into keyway. It had ground down the crank so bad I decided to pull the motor. I bought a very nice ls that came out of 92 and swapped it in no problem. After using my obd0 distributor and injectors on the obd1 motor it started up and ran fine.
But heres the problem.
I get in the car to take it around the block for the first time and I noticed my seat belts went down but never went up, also the gas gauge, temp gauge, and tachometer do not work. The light on the cluster works but none of the gauges. I also noticed to that my turn signals don't work, but the hazards do. All this worked until after the swap.
I checked my fuses, and don't know where to start looking for the problem, I'm stumped.
I don't know if this could be it but, when I was plugging in the speed sensor to the transmission I shorted it against the starter (stupid me) could it have killed the cluster, and caused all these problems.

You bet, pull the cluster and check the circuit "board" for burnt tracers.
Not sure how it would effect the seat belts though. 94
