Default Will it work????

I am new to the import thing. I own a performance shop but, work on American cars. Anyway, I am working on a 91 crx doing a b16a swap. What I need to find out if the d16sohc manual trans will work with the b16a? If anyone has a detailed swap guide or pics of the complete swap that would be great!

No, you need a B series transmission. I wish HT's search function worked. There are thousands of posts about that swap on H-Ts servers.
Do a search (google, yahoo) about B16 into CRX.
Lots of places to find that sort of info.

Well ran into a problem! Is there a difference between an automatic trans crankshaft and a manual? I can't seem to find a pilot bearing to fit!

No.

All manual B-series and D-series use the same pilot bearing, 91006-634-008.

I have tried that one and it will not fit! It is about 1/4 inch too big.

The pilot bearing goes in the flywheel, not the crank.

Without pics, it's useless. Sure you got the right part?

A customer brought the parts. We usually only do American muscle cars. I accepted the job to help a friend. I am tempted to tell him to take it somewhere else. I will post pics in a minute.

Sounds like he brought the car to the wrong shop. No offence but you are already this lost and confused, you haven't even really got into swapping the motor yet lol.

Yes you should stop working on it... Domestic or Import don't mean a thing a car is a car is a car and a motor is a motor as a motor is a motor.

It is always a nightmare when the customer brings the incorrect parts.
