First off, I'm a broke *** high school student with a part time job. I am paying for all my stuff so don't be expecting any fast paced updates. It's going to be my daily driver, not looking to get a crazy show/track car. All I want is the car to look OEM.
Now that I've said that, I'm Fernando, a 16 year old from Canada. I hate winter by the way. I have a 1993 Frost White EJ2. It's got lots of rust but hopefully this spring I'll get the body work done and get it sent for paint. It's nothing special at the moment so don't be shocked by the pics. Lol.
The small list of what the car has at the moment:
Exterior
-CSA wheels on Hancook tires (Temp for now)
-8000K H.I.D kit
-Changed clear corners to OEM's
Interior
-Full swap from beige/tan to grey
-Si cluster
-Si clock
-H.O.P. armrest
Engine
-Stock d15b7
-K&N air filter
This is when I brought it home, for some reason it had a black gas cap and pervious the owner had clears on the car, which I changed to OEM's for now. The interior was beige/tan and I bought a parts car for $300 (had a rear end collision) that had all grey interior and I swapped it all out. Part's car has a d16z6 which I'm planning to change also.
When I brought it home.

First thing I did was change the interior, here is a pic right before I painted the dash.

Changed the Dx cluster for an Si/Ex one.

Here is a picture of the interior right now. I'm planning on getting an H.O.P coin pocket and center console.

I decided to do a DIY plate locator. Here are some pics of that.

Here are some picture to show how bad the rust on the wheel wells are.

Finally here are two of my favourtice pics.

I was really bored today and decided to make her look a little better. I painted the weather strippings, here are some pics of the process and stuff
Rust Check flat black rust paint, and acetone for cleaning

Masked and taped off, you can see how bad the strip looks

Yayy, fresh paint

Horrible

Fresh paint again!

And the final product
No more ugly-ness

. Yeah it comes out looking very close to OEM since it's flat black paint.Yeah I did, just rattled canned it while it was still in the car. Got the paint from car quest, I don't remember the color code if anyone needs it, sorry.

I'll take a close up for you tomorrow, it's really dark now. The texture is exactly the same because I did very light coats of it. It's been like this for almost a year and it still looks brand new. Just don't use armor all or that stuff on it and it should last long.
Here are some more before and after pictures.

Yes, it feels normal, looks normal. People don't belive me when I tell them I painted it, they think I just swapped the dash from my other car.
