I have a 97 Civic LX. A few months ago the driver's door would only lock/unlock via the key fob. The key would not work in the door nor could the door be unlocked manually. The stem appeared to be stuck. Now the key fob will not work ( I can hear it making a noise) but the door can be manually locked / unlocked via key or by hand.

I believe the lock or actuator or both need to be replaced. Any one have any info?
