Default Rear Defogger

I have a 02 Accord. I turned on the rear window to defrost some ice/snow yesterday and it didn't melt the whole glass. There was a strip on ice/snow on the very top of the window. Is this normal or should I take it in to get it checked?

Certain accord models have a built in antenna at the top of the glass. My guess is that's your situation. If you don't have an external antenna that's what it is.

Yep, those lines and what not you see up there are the antenna.

Now it IS a problem if it's like halfway down the rear glass but there's the equivalent of 1-2 of those lines (distance wise) towards the top that is the antenna
