Ok i got a new deck(sony) and before i install it i got a few questions, i was reading through the installation instructions and theres a note that says "A power antenna(aerial) without a relay box cannot be used with this unit"

so my questions are:
Is the antenna thats in the back window of my 01 civic a Power Antenna?

If so does it have a relay box?

can i use the antenna in my car with my new deck?

Yes

However theres no need for this topic now, i found out that when it says power antenna, it referrs to the ones that actually move up and down, lol, like in the mid 90's integra's. The antenna in my car will plug directly into the deck

 

01 CIVIC dont have antenna first of all. then u dont need antenna for a deck. cuz i got one in my em2 05 it said in the direction but u dont need one...
