Is there a known fitment issue with the Mugen replica lip? Is there a fix?

A friend of mine bought one for her '00 Civic and she's telling me the installer is saying there's a problem. I'm assuming a fitment issue, but the car is 2000 miles from me so I can't help except for doing searches, and I thought I'd try you folks.

Ya there is. Its fixable thou 714si has one on his car he made some custom bracket and it's on there way better than it would have been if he hadn't made the bracket . The worst thing is the spot they want you to mount it at, will show the brackets when looking at the car from the front.
