I apologize in advance if this is in the wrong section, I figured itd get the most attention here.

I sent 775 via paypal for an h22 hytech header to htech user: 4NLINE UNLIMITED on december 1st and he claimed to have shipped it shortly after. Its now the 16th and Ive called him numerous times w/ voicemails and he has yet to get in touch with me...he claims to have vouches should I be worried?

 

I hope not.. I have seen his name on ht for a while...

but do note... only buy from 99slammedcivic from now on ..

 

I only ship my stuff through UPS for this reason, if he says he shipped it and he shipped it through UPS ask him for a tracking number. If he says he doesn't have it or they didn't give it to him chances are the dude is a scammer. Hopefully you can get either your header back or your money back but next time ask for UPS shipping w/ Tracking Number and or confirmation.

 

Whats the best way to go about handling this, I dont know an address all I know is his full name, supposedly his town, a cell phone number and paypal address, I really dont want to add his name to the top thread..

 

Its hard to say bro ive sent things and its taken a few weeks to get. Its near christmas so there a million people shipping. If he cant get you a tracking number, Then you may have a problem. But sometimes that **** can take ahile to get to you and its an oversized box. You can always start a paypal claim but there a pain in the ***

 

he may have just shipped it via horse&buggy but he hasnt returned any of my voicemails, emails, or IMs...how much of a pain in the ***?

 

ive dealt with him plenty..he has always been a legit and stand up guy. Hope this gets resolved.

Well it finally came a couple weeks ago and as soon as I opened it I saw something I had not been informed of. A huge dent:



When I asked 4LINE UNLIMITED what the deal was with this, he replied with "Oh i didnt see that". After that he just stopped responding to anything I had to say...

Needless to say Im a bit mad, nothing I can do but be leary of this ***git

 

boooo! thats hella shady, atleast give him some of his money back 4line it already took you 2 weeks to send the header out you said you had financial problems but what does that have to do with rob a if you have his money?

 

If the header cost the buyer $70, I can really careless about that dent (although at the critical part of the exhaust flow). However, this is $775 bucks that we are talking about here. Seller, please be fair and compensate the buyer for that damage.

At least give hime 1/2 of the money back I say. A refund of $350-400 acceptable. Especially since it took 2+ weeks to ship.

He prob sold you the header because, like he said, he had money trouble. I bet he could give a **** less if it was dented or even close to described condition. As long as he had his money, that is all he cared about. Now you get stuck with a $775 dented header!!

If you send that portion to hytech they do repairs, I have seen them do repairs from user damage in the past. Sorry to hear about the deal gone sour though

 

yeah Ive been talking to john at hytech he says itll be about 300-350 to fix properly. I asked for a partial refund but like I said he stopped communication. win some lose some I guess :/

 

Seriously beginning this up again?
You knew the condition of the Header.
You said you were go'n to get it fix'd by Hytech.
I didn't know about the Dent on the inside of the Header.
in which im not go'n to pay you 400 Dollars for a Dent you found.
Im not Lying about be'n in a Financial Pickel which i still am.
That's why my Jeep&Civic are currently forsale.

Either way, if it's damage you didn't tell him about, refund him part of his money. Your own financial necessities are irrelevant to anyone else. What matters to them is how well the product you sold represents the product you convinced them to buy. Good luck with resolving your financial issues and I hope you manage to keep your son, but you need to maintain your responsibilities as a seller as well.

The condition of the header as I knew it before the money was sent were only as far as these 3 pictures





As you can see, none of those pictures show the dent so theres no possible way for me to have known the condition. The dent was never mentioned either throughout all of our PM's. What I was ''go'n to get fix'd'' were the 2 slight dents on the downpipe.

I find it nearly impossible to believe that you ''did not see'' this dent prior to packaging it and shipping it. esp since one of those pictures the header is in your hand.

I also have a hard time envisioning how such a dent could be put there. The only thing that comes to mind is intentional vandalism because I chose to expose you to the rest of h-tech via this thread...which leads me to another thing thats pissed me off; why is it that youve ignored countless phone calls, emails, PM's and IM's from me but only raise your voice on a public thread?

&i repeat again, I did not see that dent YOU picked out w/ your Camera on your Header.
