Default K series and J series shifting cables

After staring at microfiche and pictures for a good hour my head is spinning. SPINNING.

Problematic question: When installing a Box A (RSX) and using the cables provided will the function at the end of the cable be that same of Box B (CL-S)?

Box A:

Box B:

The push pull twisty turny has got my head spinning. I know one of you knowledgeable fellas will have the answer.

Scenario: Attempting to use RSX shifter assembly to shift J series 6mt CL tranny.

Thanks in advance guys.

Default shifter box

using the rsx shifter box for the J trans will give you the wrong gear selection second gear will be where first is at fourth will be where third is and so on, when I was doing my K swap I bought this shifter box for an Accord 6sp J engine and when installed I found out the hard way. its the position of the links on the shifter box that change from the rsx, if you want to buy my J series engine 6sp trans shifter box, I will sell it to you $40.00 shipped New in box.
