i thought it was barbados yellow? either way, I wont even buy parts from a y-49. Yes, I am very superstitios, except for the black cat crossing the road. I just run him over!!

X2 I have the worst of luck with all my EFs. y49 would just make **** 105983149081 times worse.

What a load of shiz. I've got a y-49 '88 si and she's got 314k with no accidents. I've won many events in this car to boot. I'd say she's lucky!

Default Barbados, wtf is barbosa... you're gonna **** off the car

whatever you do, don't paint it a different color, that only envokes the evil. I am not superstitious... Barbados yellow almost burnt my house down, i've worked on a lot of cars, but thats the only one that decided to catch fire. Being restored to original is the only thing that pleases them.

That is exactly why i'm keeping mine stock! In fact, i think the owner before me swapped the engine before, had a minor accident (decent sized dent, nothing major), and put the stock engine back in before putting up for sale.

I think he just needed another car. So maybe that was just a coincidence.. lol

But anyway, After i bought it, I wanted to put stock springs and shocks back on. That job took me twice as long as any other car ive ever done suspension on. It was ridiculous! I haven't done anything since, and its been running fine, i just dont want to mess with it anymore.

So i agree with you guys on the curse!

I had a Y49 back in the day. Had it for a year and a half....no problems till the day i was dropping it off at the Honda dealer. They were buying the car from me if you can believe it....but on the way there, the car just suddenly died for no reason. It had never ever done that before. I did get it going again....but weird, its like the car knew i was parting with it

listen.. this doesn't just happen..

Do you think they would hold an open track day when snow was predicted? No. It started snowing when this car left the pit, and stopped as soon as it got back in..
