Default LS Swap

Hey guys, ive been doing some searching, and that has answered alot of the questions i havent asked yet, but i still have a couple more questions.

When swaping my LS(b18B1) into my ef 1990 model, i will have to use newer model front spindles. correct? if so will the ones of a 94 del sol work?

Wiring harness( i searched and searched, could not find the answer to my question) Should i use my ls engine harness? or try and use the one thats on the stock motor?

Last question;

Can i swap the rear suspension off my del sol 1994 model (disc brake upgrade) onto my ef?

you don't have to swap your front spindles unless you have a std civic or hf crx. if it's a dx, lx, ex, or si it is fine. use the harness on your stock motor. yes the rears will swap however again depending on what 90 model civic/crx you have will determine what parking brake cables you will need.

since it's a dx you will have to convert your engine and chassis harness from dpfi to mpfi. shift linkage will not work. you need to buy a modified shift linkage for a b series motor in an ef chassis. for the rear conversion, yes it will work but you will need 90-93 integra parking brake cables.

You can also use 90-91 CRX Si cables

Don't forget to remove the dust covers from the inside of the hubs in order for the b series axles to fit.

I think the CRX cables are a bit tight on a hatch, I'd just run DA cables.

i think im going to have rywire make me a harness. after that, do i still have to convert from dpfi to mpfi? if so can i just use loose wire and plugs off of my ls harness?(i have two harnesses)

i dont want to go through all the trouble of buying dseries intakes and what not if im not even using a dseries engine

You need to send Rywire your d-series harness and the Ls harness . He will make 1 plug and play harness out of the 2 for you. Make sure you let him know its a dx and he'll convert it to MPFI also.

Yes you can use your p75, its obd1. All you need is a obd0 -obd1 conversion harness

Dont forget you need a 4 wire o2 sensor, instead of the 1 wire you have.

i think 90-91 crx si's already come with disc brakes so why would you convert again?

he didn't convert it to a crx si, but took them from a crx si and put them on his hatch.
