^lol

Then if it's only a civic why are you so interested in one? We all want a ctr, but you'd have to import one.

get in touch with someone that imports cars/parts in your area and ask them if they can get one for ya.
THEN you have to find someone that can register it and that is not easy or cheap. LoL

not exactly. you might've seen the thread where the guy converts his csx to the ctr front. also, more differences between the 2 than just looks.

I didn't forget. I figured he was referring to the better handling type R, considering the FN2 uses the same suspension that the ancient Roman's used on their chariots.

wow i can't believe no one has mentioned buying one that's already been imported..check the cars for sale thread here on HT...i know for a fact there's a guy selling a mint CTR and a mint 00 si for a very reasonable price. The CTR even has a US title. I'd look it up for you, but I'm at work and can't get into the classifieds

first it has to get certified so it can be imported. thats not cheap at all. they have to put a few type r's into test crashes to see how well it holds up. unless you have the money to buy a few to spare its not going to be easy. then you have to get t to pass emissions.

I think this only has to be done (usually) for the very first car they bring over. I'm pretty sure someone has brought a CTR over before and put it through this BS.

It's easy to pay someone for a inspection sticker. At least it is in NJ.

never heard of anyone doing so. streetlightz has one but they use it solely for car shows just for that above reason. they are not allowed to drive it on the street.
