Yes its mild steel, you can mig it but tig would be alot cleaner. One is for feed on the sump, the return I would use the stock feed line in the top for the new return. For baffling just get a hole saw and drill a few holes instead of cutting the whole area out.

I'll agree with 905 legend.. I have two -10an outlets on my tank, and use the stock feed on the top as the return port.. Most guys just drill holes in the stock tank to baffle it..

You don't wanna use the return on the sump since its returning warm fuel. Its best to use the stock return. Some people say this has no effect others say it does.

the comp eng sump comes with a template that you can easily draw onto the tank, but its not necessary, just get the whole saw out. my return is where the little sensor is on the left front corner of the tank.

you can easily just order the weld-in an fitting, get some steel from home depot or such, cut it to whatever size you want and weld it together however you like. i've seen sumps made out of the factory pump housing but i dont know how well that would work.

yeah that was the plan i was just unsure why most pre made sumps have two bungs? is it more for people running dual pumps? i like the idea of using the stock feed for return, ill probably do that.
