Default can i use a 4 door jdm one peice headlights on my crx?

i searched around a bit looking for a forum on this because i thought i seen one before, i'm wanting to buy the password jdm crx front end with my taxes, and i was wondering would the jdm sedans one peice headlight would work in my 88 si? if they would, do i need to change any thing like the brackets? also could i get away with not changing my fenders with the new front end?

You cannot use the headlights unless you cut into your hood at minimum, I'm sure there is more.

If you use the whole JDM Sedan front end, I don't see why not.

... and you have to somehow make the front end fit.
Fenders would require cutting and welding and I'm sure there is a whole lot more to make this work.

sedan fenders are longer than the crx. come to a different point.

whole lots of fab work to make it work.

you would basically have to swap the whole front end over including the bumper.

Why would you want to do this? Its not cool, nor that functional being the beam is aimed in the wrong direction.

What is cool are the edm glass housing lights which use H4 bulbs, can be had in left hand drive format, and can be had for either a stock usdm model, or one with an SiR style front end.
Here's a shot of the edm VT model ones

How are the beams pointing in the wrong direction?

I've seen the JDM one pieces for 100 bux how much are the EDM VT ones? Are they easier to swap to rather than the JDM ones? I really need to do something different with my REX as well. Thanks for the info!

And anything can be done with enough fab work. Just how much money do you want to spend?

I believe the EDM are two piece (headlight and corner).
JDM is right hand drive so the beam pattern is adjusted to aim off to the left whereas a USDM will aim off to the right.

Sedan headlights? No. Unless you:

a) Want them to look like ***, or
b) Your really good at bodywork and want to use tonnes of filler.

Oh yeah, I didn't even think about that. Cool thanks for clearing that up. Know where to pick up a set of EDM VT lights? I like the idea of going to H4 anyway!
