If you already have bolt ons, I'd look into spending that $1000 on K-Pro and bumping your power 25-30WHP. It's no K-swap or turbokit, but for $1000 a bargain.

Make sure you get it tuned.

Ya K-Pro would be the next step if your not able to boost or swap. An it has been dyno'd to give about 20-30 whp with a good tuner. So that is prob the best you are going to get for $1,000. But once you do get more money you will already have a great tuning system to work with. Than you will just have to put togeather a turbo kit. If you buy one your looking about around $4,000-6,000. look at my build thread. My total kit cost me around $3000 with the tuning system. So really for another $2,000 you could have the turbo kit. But dont get me wrong it is a lot of work, time and small parts that are required. But it is def worth it in the end.

Yep, KPRO will be the give you the best results as far as money spent:power gained ratio.

Second the Kpro. It's a good building block. It'll give you power now, and it'll be something you'd need anyway if you decide to swap or boost later on. Look at it as an investment.

so yea i called the local kpro guy and he said you guys are right but its way above my budget. $1175 for kpro and cam gear, $500 for a tune and whatever i find a ecu for. nitrous sounds good but how much can a my motor handle, and im kinda against it cuz ill keep swapin out jets lookin to beat the next guy till my motor is all over 64. dose any one have kpro with crower stage 2 or 3 cam? if so what kind of power gains did u git?

If you can't afford the K-Pro, cam gear, and a tuning session, adding the crower cam will be a further nightmare for you. Crower recommends valvetrain upgrades on both the Stage 2 and 3 cam. You're now looking at rebuilding the head in addition to the previously added items.

You have to be realistic with yourself as to your future plans with the car.
