mine came off when i hit a bush and ran it over. but never any instances of it just comming off. thats why the hardware kit has bolts through out the entire legth of the lip and the bumper.

Someone steal it? Or did he hit something? With the proper hardware, I find it hard to just rip out.

It either wasn't bolted on right or you hit something.

So what did he run over? What has he scraped it on lately? Because it doesn't just fall off . . .

I find this hard to believe if it was OEM and mounted properly. There are like 12 bolts holding that thing, and it's only half an inch down from the bumper...of that ripped off I don't see how the bumper stayed in tact...

his was OEM and stolen from his hatch, he's pretty pissed seeing as how hard those are to come by now. I mean its bolted to the bumper, so I'm kinda surprised that they took their time to take it off. Stupid thieves.

Huh? You can walk into any Honda dealership parts department and buy or order one. They even come pre-painted in one of three colors.

Yes they are fairly easy to just pull off of any honda. When you pull hard enough the plastic holes where all the screws go through rip open and the only thing that sometimes happens is the ends of the lip where the two screws go into the very sides of the bumper may snap off. Thats how you know if someone has a lip that was stolen. Other than that they bolt right back on. Ive had mine stolen twice and bought one that looked like it was stolen once too. So I assume its fairly easy to do.

how'd they steal ur bumper? did they take the grill too?

dang i thought this thread was about it breaking off

seriously this is ridiculous people breaking off lips... i guess i bought a stolen one too..
all the brackets were broken and the sides holes were broken.

buy new or its not worth it.. i hate supporting thieves.

oh dang.. im just thinking about how you steal a bumper without popping the hood...

i assume it's possible, but seems to me like u gotta use a lot of force or dent the hood trying to break the clips

and that seems to take a lot of time

****ing theives.. i swear.. stealing everything...

this is even worse then when thieves dented my frame and messed up my window and climate bezel.. to steal a $100 headunit and then they couldn't figure out how to get the radio out of the dash...twice

Your buddy probably ran over a curb and was too embarassed to tell you. Even you didn't think it was possible.

Gotta laugh at people calling others retarted when they are spelling it wrong.

Retarded.....
