Default Window issue

My window recently has a gap and stopped working yesterday I've heard this is a common issue I think I have to replace the weather strip for the window because it currently has a gap when rolled up between the doors plastic and where the window stops all the way up if
Anyone has experienced the same problem let me know what I should do and what parts so my window works and closes correctly Ty

are you sure the window isn't just caught up on the weather stripping? mine sometimes when it gets cold out jumps off track a bit and gets caught up... usually i can pry it all back to place and the window works fine again.

Year and model of car? 92-95 have problems with the manual crank. the nylon wheels wear out and the mech binds and bends one of the mech arms. You will need to replace the window regulator. You can get on for under $100 just shop around.

Most of what I have read for that is to lube the window guide with a silicone based lube to help the window slide up te track. I still would question the tracks being worn or the window regulator having a problem. I have never owned a car that you had to lube the window track to make the window roll up and I have owned some real p.o.s

i have the same problem on my 98 civic manual window driver side. mechanic told me its the molding and aligner inside my door [sides that hold window]. when i took it out the metal piece was bent so it was all messed up. suggest changing that and window molding. on a manual its roughly 200 because OEM only. unless u find it at salvaged yard or a friend. gluck with that.
