The one I currently have is too loud and I would like something better than OEM however it has to be quiet. I want something that is not too loud and it sounds normal but still has a growl to it. So not too quiet but def not much different from stock cars, I dont want to be hassled by cops. I searched and it seems everyone is looking for louder exhausts such as tanabe medalion, spoon, mugen, n1, hks hi-power.

Basically I want something that dont look like huge watermelon launcher but it doesnt look too oem small either. Like the spoon N1 in size but just quieter. Thanks for your time.

Alright I have the same engine as you and was wondering what else you have under the hood. I have just a cold air and Y-header pipe and I also have the magnaflow 2.5 piping and I love the sound. I have only had it for 1 week so it hasn't really broken in but I run it with no res. and I have the 18 inch muffler. It is nice and quite but when your running it has a sweet sound. Any questions ask.

 

RS-R. end of story. super quiet at idle and low rpms. really opens up in the powerband. i have one on my itr with a omni power test pipe. quieter than stock at idle. great sound.
