Default Taking apart tail lights?

Alright so I have two sets of tail lights; the original ones which have the lens painted by the previous owner(I think it was really overspray though), and another set with good lens but cracked black plastic part. It looks like it's held on by some grey adhesive but can anyone confirm that the taillights can be taken apart? I'd like to swap the lens if possible since I already have everything vs. buying tail lights.

the 88-89 taillights are much easier to remove than the 90-91 taillights. but yes, they can be removed with some heat and slowly and carefully prying. goodluck

in the integra forum there is a thread in the faq that explains that. you use an oven and bake them apart.
