Default What is the correct part number?

I am working on a 1991 Honda Civic DX 3dr hatchback 49 state model with 5 sp manual transmission. VIN--2HGED6350MH535756
I am attempting to replace the water inlet Hose B that connects the heater with the water valve. See attached photo. The Honda parts diagram states the correct part number is #79722-SK7-000 HOSE B, WATER INLET. However this part is too short by at least two inches. Does anyone know the correct part number or how I can obtain the correct number? Two Honda Dealers are stumped and insist that #79722-SK7-000 should be the correct part.

I just replaced the hose on the other side of the heater switch (running from the block). It's part number was #79721 SH3 930. I thought SK7 was an Integra code? Perhaps ask them if your part number (#79722) works with the SH3 civic code?

Just some ideas.

That part number is correct for the hose pictured. However, I am not sure why it isn't the correct length. Did you order the hose and attempt to install it? Was it the correct part number that you ordered?

For whatever the reason is for the incorrect fitment/part number I would suggest buying bulk hose of the same grade and cutting it to size. That will probably save time and more hassle.

EDIT: I followed sp33 advise and entered in 79722-SH3-000 and it lists it as Hose, B water inlet. It could be possible that the online catalogs are off, i would give that part number a try.

90 Sedan-I know that #79722-SK7-000 is the wrong part because I ordered it and placed it beside the hose in the picture. I will try the number 79722-SH3-000 you suggest. My only concern with bulk hose is whether I can bend it to fit the curve without reducing the flow.
ACMOC- please elaborate on your suggestion. Where can those hoses be obtained?

I simply used part of the bend from another new EF heater hose. The bend is approx the same and it worked perfectly without scouring parts catalogs or ordering possibly wrong stuff. Technically perfect? No, but functionally perfect and simple.
