Use the B17 crank and rods and whatever pistons you like and it will run exactly like a B17 block. The B16 and B17 blocks are the same with respect to dimension(s). It is the internals that are different.

Good luck.

would this setup with ctr pistons be worth it in a 95 integra? Or should I go ls/vtec? GSR would be better but money is an issue and I already have a b16 block and an ls motor.

I would put as much displacement under the hood that you can afford. If you can get a GS-R block that would not be a bad thing to do.

If you are going to do a LS/VTEC setup make sure you build it right. If you are going to use stock rods be sure to use ARP rod bolts. If you use ARP rod bolts make sure to have the big end of the rod resized. If you have the big end of the rod resized to make sure it is round be sure to check for bearing clearances.

The list goes on and on when building a LS/VTEC setup correctly.

But, to answer your question...I would not bother with a B16/B17 setup in your Integra. It is a heavy car to begin with and you want as much displacement as you can afford to put under the hood.

Im not looking to have a car that is fast as hell. Im just looking for something that is decently fast and streetable. looking for maybe low 14's. I already have a b17 crank, rods and poistons and I also have a b16a block. In my car now is an ls motor. Would I not be happy with the b17 setup? Would it be worth my while to build the b16/b17 setup and sell it? Thanks for the advise Kenji!

With a heavy car like an Integra you want torque. High HP is cool but when you have torque also it makes it much more enjoyable to drive.

Try finding a GS-R long block and switch everything over. When time and money permits get a B16 or ITR tranny.

IMO the B17 will not give you the torque you need.

Here is my suggestion...sell the B17 internals (they are in very high demand and should bring good $), sell the B16 block, get a GS-R or ITR long block, and sell your LS block to recover the costs.

Both your LS block and the B17 internals will give you a decent amount of money to offset costs. But, if you want to return your car to stock one day I would strongly suggest not selling any of your stock parts.

This is just my opinion. It is your car so be sure to do exactly what you want and not what others tell you. Either way I wish you luck.
