1995 Accord EX Gold Edition/Leather - CD5 Sedan - NEED GONE
***PRICE DROP AS OF TODAY. WILL TAKE THE FIRST $2,100 CASH THAT SOMEONE SHOWS ME! THAT IS BELOW KBB!***
Car is in Tampa, FL.
I would like this car gone by the end of the week if possible, at most before Christmas. Price is negotiable, but not by too much. Car is NOT currently insured OR tagged, will be getting temp tag later this week! NO JOYRIDES, CASH ONLY.
I've had the car ~6 months, and since I just had a baby, got a newer and safer car ('07 Mazda 3), so this one needs to go. Would make a great starter car or project CD5! Everything in the car mechanically speaking is as stock as it gets. F22B1 VTEC, 4cyl 2.2L. I'm as honest as possible, and have listed everything, good and bad, that I can think of. Check feedback for proof of my character.
1995 Honda Accord EX: Gold Edition
Good:
+Dark Forest Green, nice paint and fairly clean exterior - MOONROOF w/guard!!!
+173,XXX Natural Miles on F22B1 VTEC still running strong
+4 Speed Automatic - Shifts STRONG with no slips or hesitation
+SOFT Leather two-tone interior, no rips/cracks in dash
+JVC MP3/CD/Aux unit with Pioneer tweeters, 6 speaker system
+Carpeting over ORIGINAL carpeting to protect the original
+Brand New Alternator and Starter (warranty on both) and cigarette lighter
+Just got tranny flush and oil change
+Original Accord rims and tires in good condition
+NEW K&N Air filter and battery
+COLD AC and HOT air
+ABS still working
+All power options, including mirrors, locks, windows, and cruise!
+Dual Front air bags with CLEAN title!
Bad:
-Top carpet is dirty/worn, inside could use a cleaning on vinyl
- Front vents need to be replaced
-Antenna motor is broken (most are)
-Passenger door lock actuator makes a buzzing noise when locking, locks perfectly fine
-Tint is peeling
-Dash lights don't come on (warning lights are OK), I think this has something to do with old car alarm that was installed. I used my GPS at night
-Small rip in driver's center of leather seat
-Dings on body here and there, scuff on bumper
-Secondary CAT has a crack in it, makes exhaust sound loud
-Runs a little rich, could use plugs and wires changed soon.
-Most of the woodgrain was old and peeling, so I took it off around dash.
-Tranny has a whiney sound to it, got it checked out. Problem is this (quoted by tranny mechanic): "The torque converter utilizes a component called a stator. More than likely, what you're hearing is the stator blades rubbing against the turbine blades.
" Just makes a whine, NO performance issues.
KBB, in "Good" condition (needing SOME reconditioning and repairs) lists the car at $2,910 and "Fair" condition (needing LOTS of reconditioning and repairs) at $2,460.
The car is in between, so I'm asking $2,550 starting. NEW PRICE OF THE FIRST $2,100 THAT I SEE!!! Pics are from right when i got it, will take more and post.
Thanks!
