Default My horizon grey metallic ej1 Project

whats up ht. well my goal now since i just became a new dad again is to have a nice looking car. this is my 95 HGM civic ex, i bought this offmy mom about 6 months ago for 2grand. my parent took good care of the car til the engine over heated, they took it to the shop and spent 1,100 to get it fixed and asked the "mechanic" if they should just rebuild the whole engine since it had 200,000 miles on it and he said no the bottom end will be fine. well wouldnt you know it a month later the bottom end started knocking, so they let it sit in there drive way for 3years before i could talk them in to selling me the car. so on with the pics.

here it is when i first got it home so its real dirty

My 1997 three spoke wheels, the only mod my step dad did

with a half a tank thanks mom the didnt run like **** or nothin

stock ar tape deck

interior is pretty mint

dirty *** engine bay (oh yeah by the way i live in the mojave dessert)

ahhh nice and clean

the new engine

dont let the vc fool you its a d16z6,and no i didnt weld the header and im not using it

new belt tensioner and water pump put on

all blue stuff was replaced, but still a pretty clean motor for free

had to get at least one thumbs up shot in

i was on a tight dead line so i didnt get any shots of the motor coming out or going in sorry, but my wife thought it would be nice to get a shot of me taking a break from cleaning the bay, let me remind you it 2 in the morning and im REALLY tired

and there she is sittin pretty

one of my moms neighbors kids broke my driver side mirror so i replace them with these spoon style mirrors

put in a cd player

i got tired of the vtec-e vc so i paint my stock one and put it back on

and my favorite shot of the vc

so there you have it, my future plans are to lower it replace the bushings new lca's and new wheels, thats as far as i have planned. also i just picked up a 93 civic ex for my wife so i will be putting up pics of that soon. thanks for letting me share

unfortunatly yes it will stay auto only because of a car accident a few year ago, it is to painful to push in a clutch.
