do i need to install the hub cap together with the steering wheel

Um, your installing a racing wheel..??

Yeah you gotta order the correct steering hub for your car/race wheel you bought, usually you buy them together though many online places don't sell the two together.

yes... you need a hub that fits your car and wheel. it basically serves as an adapter. quick release is optional.
