Default jdm obd1 engine harness

what are the differences between a usdm one and a jdm one? My friend has a jdm one laying around that i might use if possible. I have an h22a4 going into a 4th gen obd1 car. The dizzy and ignitor are already obd1. Help me

The JDM wiring harness is designed to enter into the car on the opposite side of the car, so if you're asking if it will fit nice and snug like a USDM one, it won't without modifications.

i've never worked with the harnesses however you could get some butt splices and some spiral tubing rebuild the harness to the length you need

The harness is going to be torn apart anyway to have heat shrinking put on it and the wires shortened to their minimum lenghts. What i am getting from this is that all the connectors are exactly the same? Just the lengths are different (which won't be a problem)

sounds easy enough if you want something that looks nicer than butt splices check out environmental splices they cost more but are a cleaner more uniform splice
