I havent: used autotrader for a long time because it costs a lot. I have been thinking about posting it on ebay, but how "sincere" are the buyers?

well, on ebay just post your car and the starting bid for 15000.

you cant bid over 15000 unless you have a creditcard on file for verification purposes. Once they have a card on file,

if they back out, just state in the bottom of the auction "this is a real auction. I have a real type r for sale. Please, do not bid if you have no intention of buying. Serious bidders only please. This is a legal binding contract between me and the winning bidder of this auction. Good luck"

then if they dont buy it at the end, sue them. Make some cash off their indecisive *** for waste your time and money.

not yet... because I am still in tokyo. will be back to chicago in sept for 2 months or so.. just trying to line up people.... so I can know what the marketis like..

mine has lots of mods on the car that kinda worries me. I don:t have the time to part it out so I am asking the 97 price plus half the mod price (15K)....

I did just post on itrca, but I will try locally first...

if you are looking for the 97 price + 15k on top for heavy mods,

you will lose lose money.

either part it out, or if not, my best suggestion to you is to sell it locally, to some stunna/riceboy/enthusiast with cash.

basically you are asking for atleast 30-35k.

I was thinking more like 25K... 17K for the car and 8K for the mods.. is it reasonable? are 97 itrs worth more than other years?

are you crazy. how many miles do you have on the thing. 25k is a lot, and no, the 97 would not be worth more, and would mods do you have?
