Default Rear defroster doesnt work..

Getting colder lately...i park my car outside.

My rear glass wont defrost. The heater lines don't seem to be functioning.

Any way to check to see what can be wrong? or what fix should be of order?

This is on a 96 Accord EX coupe.

Make sure the two plugs are plugged in firmly on each side, you should see two small rectangle access doors on the rear plastic. Just pop those open and make sure they're good.

Also take a close look and make sure there are no breaks in the defrost lines.

Muffinman has some valid points, and once you've done that, the next step will be to determine if power is present at the heater elements.
With those afore mentioned access doors open, probe the connections with either a 12v test lamp or a multimeter set to a voltage range of 0 to 20VDC.
With the engine running, and the switch powered up, you should see 12v at one of these terminals.
If you do not, then you've got an electrical issue upstream - perhaps a relay or the switch itself. As a starter, I'd check the fuses first.
If you do have power to one of these terminals, two things may be possible; 1st (as Muffinman suggested) the printed heater lines may have been broken by a previous attempt at cleaning the glass interior, or the pigtail on the other side of the heated glass has lost it's ground.

^ Good elaboration P

I've gotta trouble shoot mine as only some of the lines don't defrost haha, Top like 6 do, bottom 2 or so do, the middle 3 or so don't.

No breaks in the lines either tested with a multimeter at either end

You may find a grid repair kit available at better Auto Body Supply houses. GM offeres one, but it only comes in silver.
I used it to bridge the broken grid lines; and the only way I could avoid globbing it on was applying it with the point of a pin.
You're going to have to look closer. When the grid line breaks, I believe you're going to see an electrical potential from both sides anyway (it's being powered by one of the adjacent grid lines) The middle three have been damaged (fo sure)
