5 to 10 times a drive. 2nd gear vtec feels great. so does 3rd.

 

haha... i dont count i guess everytime someone looks at me the wrong way i hit vtec and pass. Its a addiction, wonder if boost will be same

 

I hit VTEC in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gear every time I'm getting on the highway. I hit VTEC in 2nd gear every time I pass someone on city streets. So all in all, probably like 7 times per week day, and probably like 30 times per weekend.

 

I hit Vtak (Y0!) no times in my Prelude every day. In fact I've not done so in about 40,000 miles.

yea I hit vtec like maybe once a month if that. but I will admit when I first bought the car a year and a half ago I would do it all the time for the first month just because it was so much more fun than my old LS integra.

 

In a day when i am driving in summer.... probably 20-30 times a day. Thats not even an exageration.

Not any more, in the Prelude at least.

200whp/183wtq was cheaper nonVTEC than it was with VTEC with 23 ft/lbs more torque to boot.

I have iVTEC in my grocery-getter though.

when i had my gsr it was probably 6-7 times a day maybe more maybe less. The real fun in that carwas 5800 when the manifold switched over.
THe lude is an H23, so no vtec.

 

I do mainly in town driving, so not much room to hit V-TEC. I do step on it when I get on the freeway...LOTS OF FUN! So, 3-6 times a week.

 

I hit Vtec in 1st gear, 2nd gear, 3rd gear, and 4th gear, never got to 5th gear vtec though, I suppose that the speed limiter wont allow me to ever get that high.

When I used to have the prelude. Honestly it was at least 10 times a day.

I drive a 2003 Cl type-S now and I would say around 7 or so.

If I am driving in the city its alot more.

 

30 times................................in my dreams....but 1 time a day powershifting the hell out of my gears!

 

when I do drive it, 10 times in 8k miles seems about average for me.

 

mabye twice every three weeks. Not trying to abuse my Prelude. it ain't no damn race car.
