Default slow b16!

the car's mods are listed in the post below..

my friend has the a stock b16 with intake / exhaust and he beats me by 4 cars.... i just got beat by a rav4 v8 SUV WTF??????? i know most of you are thinking (driver sucks). i shift at 8200 and i do not granny shift... any ideas what could be wrong with my car?

JDM B16 swap
Hasport motor mounts
00 civic si dual core radiator

ECU

P28 chipped tuned by previous owner
Has datalogging

Ignition

MSD cap & rotor
Magnacore ignition wires
NGK spark plugs
Mallory hy fire ignition system
Nology ignition coil

Intake

AEBS intake manifold
LS throttle body
Short ram intake w/ filter

Exhaust

Dc sports header
OBX cat back W/ silencer

Suspension

Progress engine swap springs
Tokico 5 way adj. shocks

I think the tuned by previous owner is your problem. maybe not but unless he owned a dyno and have done alot of cars then I wouldnt assume that it is tuned to its maxium performance. just a thought but either way if thats not the case then a compression test and a trip the the dyno will sure tell you where you at as far as health is concerned.

assuming the engine is in good running shape, then maybe the tune just sucks?

Yeah i would go with a crappy tune. Like gsrhatch said take it to the dyno and you'll find out what's wrong.

yea, and also i have never hit rev limiter in my car before and ive done burnouts / attempts at drifting and ran it hard but never hit rev limiter. it may rev higher then 8200, that could help to.

see if the throttle body opens all the way at full throttle. and like they said maybe the tune sucks. you can order a pre-tuned chipped one from phearable..net

check the compression first though
