MUST SEE...B16 crx at track!!!!!!!
My boy has had a B16 in his rex for some time now. His mods consist of a aem cai and a tanabe cat back system. Hes been trying to break the 14s for sometime now but just cant seem to do it(best pass was like a 15.02@94). Well tonight we wanted to try something different. We got a 2 liter bottle of soda and made a intake out of it. Here goes, we took off the bottom end extension of the intake and pulled out the headlight. We then cut the spout off of the bottle so it fit firmly into the intake pipe. After this we cut the other end of the bottle off to make it like a funnel ram and duct taped the hell out of it. We did this to be really dumb and didnt expect to see no gains from it. I wish i had a pic of it it was so ghetto, but it worked. Best time tonight was a 14.85@96mph. He went a whole 2 mph quicker just from sticking a 2 liter bottle on the intake and pulling the intake.
I just thought you all might want to hear about this good idea. Trust me try it for yourself you wont be disappointed in the gains.

yeah i know its been around for quite sometime now its just that i didnt think it would make that much of a difference
I will stick with a AEM, 2 tenths are not worth the "ghetto" look. Hey but thanks for letting us know what kind of improvements it did give you.

it doesnt have to be ghetto.
same purpose as the iceman airforce intake.
here's our own version that we made. VERSION 1
we started using a diff style which had the pipe extend outside the headlight. it does give at least 2tenths off the 1/4 mile. (sorry dont have a pic of Version 2 yet)
