Default tire size for 17'' rims on 99 ek

I go through tires like its cool. Im thinking of going with a bigger tire but dont know if it will fit. I have tein suspension all the way around so the car is adjustable. I have a set of 17'' rims and i need to know if a set of 215/45 will work on my car.
Any help would be appreciated

Wheel width? Alignment specs (probably bad since you go through tires)

No, it's too large. Stick with 205/40-17.

If you're looking for the best performance, get a really sticky tire in that size, like the Falken Azenis RT-615.
