Aircraft Remover

Here is a link that is in the FAQ. You should always look there before asking questions. Majority of the time you will find an answer

https://honda-tech.com/forums/wheel-tire-56/9658-faq-how-paint-your-wheels-1356908/

^^even uses LS meshes!

Good Luck

LS Meshies are polished stock. Aircraft remover takes off paint. You should be fine. If not, repolish them to original luster.

I bought mine @ Wal-Mart last year, like 10 cans and used up 5 already. They discontinued that product and replaced it with the Aircraft can. I haven't used the Aircraft, yet, cause I haven't used up my last 5 cans of Auto Strip. But, eventually I will!

Any heavy body paint stripper, or aircraft stripper when used with a wire cup brush with a drill and a wire brush will pretty much get it all done in one go.

Wow, you bumped a half a year old thread to post that?

But just to add to the thread, I've been reading that gasket remover by Permatex works pretty good as well. I want to try it out, just can't find it readily available. When I find the stuff, I'll try it out and hopefully get to post the results.

this thread is over with...i had seen a picture of somebody using the aircraft paint remover.
The picture was in the state of the paint dissolving.. i assumed that s how it looked after...

I have polished my rims to pimp status ^_^
