I've been looking for a BYS badge for my dc2 bumper for quite some time now, unsuccessfully. I purchased my bumper new (yes, it's authentic) but it didnt come with the badge.

So, I plan on making a reproduction for my bumper. And figure, I might as well make a few extra for anyone else in the same situation. Or if their bumper is damaged and needs a replacement.

I can probably make "Mugen" one's as well.

They will be made on brushed aluminum and laser engraved. I could also do polished aluminum, if I can find the material.

The cost will probably be around $25 each, if I can get the cost lower - I will.

Any interest in this?

Yes it would be copyright infringement.

However, this is similar to those who take their expensive wheels - custom finish them - then install fresh, reproduced decals.

It's common in the industry.

My main concern would be the badges going to those who really have authentic parts. I wouldnt feel right making these then having some kid slap it on a replica Mugen bumper or something.
