Ok, after i did my auto to standard swap my alternator will not work. i have tried to that work forsure and bought a new one. it will not charge for the life of me. i have had all of them tested. also it is a dx and i just put a si motor in it d16z6 its a 92 civic dx 4 door. all the fuses are good and all the grounds and wires are good. someone help me, thanks!

 

i thought the alternator charged the battery?

 

did u change the harness on the motor

 

yea, i changed the harness but that wasn't the problem. i went through and double checked all my work and the wire that goes into the fuse box under the hood was loose. and that came from the engine harness to the alternator. tightened it up now its all good. thanks for the help though!
