How do you prevent seats from looking like this?
wow those are some f*cked up CTR seats..people slide in and out of their seats which causes rubbing which produces friction which generates wear and tear.
solution: pick your a$$ up out of the seat
but that's just my opinion....I could be wrong

OMG those are 01 seats??? How many miles do you have on them!!!
I've got 36k and my red seats are still perfect!
Do your friends run every time you want to borrow a car?
Doh.. Just noticed the RHD, so no doubt the car is older than a year...

Frequent cleaning of the seats will help but the main thing is NOT TO WEAR JEANS in the seat, wear sweats(something softer then the seat not harder )
that's just dirt buildup.. it will also build up on the part where ur seatbelt touches the seat.. suede cleaner will clean that up in no time.. just be sure to test it on a non-visible portion of the seat to make sure it doesnt bleach/stain the material.
OT-- jdmhondaparts' imported cars always look like *** on the inside. anyone else notice that?
soap and water took it right out for me. there was that one thread about how to clean the "alcantra" they simply said on the website to use soap and water. worked great for me i just used some dish washing soap.
