Default HELP! Over-reacting or big f*ck up ?

The clutch of my car is gone, i have a new one but it hasnt been installed yet, will be done next week. Anyways, since I'm not using my car I've been cleaning it out, do some regular maintence to it.
I few weeks ago i purchased AEM brake pads and Powerslot Rotors. Even though in the Instructions for the Powerslots, it specifies to use new brake pads, I asked a bunch of my mechanic buddies. They said theres nothing wrong with it, but if you have the time and can baby it, bed the pads, run them for about 500 miles and than install the rotors, and give those 500miles to bed in.

So i installed the new pads, (really needed it) and after 500 lightly driven miles I installed my powerslot rotors today. New screws and all that, I applied no type of lubricant to the brake or anything, just a straight rotor swap. I drove the car down the street, and the block, and inspected them...

HOLY CRAP! Instead of the nice, clean rotors, not only do they smell like sh*t but they look horrible, circular scraping and black gunk all over them.

Help me salvage my rotors. What do you guys reccomend I do?? Should I buy new pads, or is this normal for the first few miles of rotors? I wont mind buying new brake pads at all as long as I dont have to go buy new rotors. Did bedded pads cause this?

Pull the pads, put some ruff sand paper on something flat and rub the pads against the sandpaper. Give them another chance. Should be ok

Really?? Even on broken-in pads....hmm
What caused this?
I just got the wheel off, tried to clean'em, but the black-scrapes and residue isn't coming off.
BTW Earl, I'm from Irvine too

some rotors come with a sprayed on coating to ihibit rust that may just be the coating getting burned away drive them for a couple of day's more and see how they look.
