z6 mani on y7

Can a Z6 mani bolt to a y7 head, i have read people putting y8 manis on y7, what all will i need to do to make this work without throwing engine codes??

It will throw a code if your car is 96 on up and OBD2. Since the z6 mani is obd1 and your car + motor is OBD2, it will cause some codes to pop up for sure.

what all do i need to transfer to the z6, tb sensors etc...

You need to use a Y7 or automatic Y8 throttlebody and block off the IACV on the back of the manifold. It would be a lot easier to simply use an automatic Y8 manifold that will bolt right up and require no modifications.

ok so ur saying i can get an auto y8 intake manifold and swap it for my manual y7 manifold with no modification at all?

Yes, remember that '99 - '00 IMs used air injection and should be avoided.
