You have a lot more to worry about than buying an aftermarket crank if you are going turbo. Also the oem GSR crank will work just fine for most all applications. Good luck!

Lets just put it this way...I've never seen an OEM crank snap in half like I've seen a couple GE cranks do. The OEM crank is more than enough for most any setup.

the stock crank will do just fine. just have it polished and inspected by a reputable machine shop.

Is an LS crank as strong as a GSR crank?

OEM or nothing. Almost all of the guys in SFWD (making 800-900whp) are running OEM Honda cranks with no issues. There are several other things you could spend your money on instead of a new crank...

oem x258985685426465

Most of the components in a GSR can handle a substantial amount of power without modification..

plenty of people on here have run upwards of 300 whp on a completely stock engine.. including you right Schister66?

Yeppers. I made 315whp on my stock block GSR for 2 years before getting impatient and building it. I had originally planned to toss that baby on E85 and see what she'd make, but rather than ruining it, i built it

just send in the OEM one for micropolishing and inspection. I personally have never seen an OEM crank break, and I have never witnessed an aftermarket crack out perform an OEM crank.

Depends what your plans for power are with boost. A stock crank can handle any basic boost setup (basic refering to anywhere between 5 an 15 PSI). Stock cranks can handle quite a bit from what i know.
