Weird Hesitation
Hey guys, I'm new to the forum and new to hondas. I recently purchased a 1990 Honda Accord with the H22 already swapped in. My Alternator went bad and just put in a good one that my buddy sold me for cheap. After we got her jumped and started we let her idle for a bit and warm up (first time started in months). The tach read that the idle was setting at 1400 rpms. I got in and drove it up the street alil ways and stopped (I've had trouble in the past with it sputtering and dieing on me when i came to a stop). It sputtered down and almost died but came to. I put it in reverse and a i slowly eased onto the gas it started sputtering and almost died again. I let it set for about 10 more seconds and proceeded in reverse with no problems and parked it back into my driveway. It Idled fine afterwards.
I have checked for Vacuum leaks several times and found a big one that was originally going to the cruise control and plugged it.
What do you guys think?
