My accord's radio has been acting up lately. Whenever it wants to, the display goes out on the radio, which can varry in length from a few seconds to many minutes. The radio still works, however so as long as I know my preset buttons it still works. However the real problem is that whenever the display goes out my cassette converter for my ipod stops and you can hear the radio try to register the tape and you can hear the music for a split second after a few seconds and then it spits the tape out. When the display comes back on, I push the tape back in and works. It is completely random when this happens and the time it doesn't work is also random.

 

My 97 Accord LX 4Dr Radio with Cassestte player is doing the same. Opened up everything and cleaned, did not help. PLEASE HELP.

 

Id also like to check and see if anyone has a fix for this yet. Im having the exact same problem.
