Speedometer not working?

I have a 1996 honda civic Dx and for some reason the speedometer is not working, I was wondering if anybody else has had this proble or knows how to fix it. Thanks

could be a bad sensor could be a bad speedometer in the cluster or wiring start tryin stuff
