brake conversion '00 gsr
this may be a stupid question, but here goes anyway. i need new rotors and calipers front and rear. my question is, is it possible to fit front rotors and calipers on the rear for a cheap-er upgrade. or is this just not possible. i would do the 5 lug conversion but... any help would be appreciated.

Unpossible... maybe... the rear brake caliper is very specialized with all the mechanical components for use with the parking brake, etc.
There is a guy who fitted a Prelude H22 engine in the rear of an Integra, using some of the Prelude front suspension and brake components in the rear. I can't remember how he made the parking brake work, but I'm sure his thread addresses it.

now thats what i'm talking about, thanks man. i wanted to build my car as close to R spec as i could. i don't want to go too wild, just clean and functional. it will eventually be a toy only not daily driven but that would be a good upgrade. i auto-x occasionaly and i may even take it to my local drag strip once in a while but suspension and braking performance are more important to me than power, however that will be addressed too. the car is mostly built but it has had a very hard life due to the previous owners, ie. front wrecked then repaired, then it was totaled and the entire passenger side was replaced from a donor car then it was stolen and run like a raped date. my previous 95 4door was totaled and i NEEDED another one so i settled for this one due to age and milage then found out all the bad that came along with it after the fact. definately should have done a carfax, but now i have no one to blame but myself. i'm currently in the process of replacing almost everything... fun fun.
