Default fuel pump

how much horse power is a stock fuel pump off of a dc4 good for?

Anything higher than 300hp I would look at getting a new fuel pump. You could make more power on a stock fuel pump and its been done before, but its just not safe. Its not worth the risk of leaning out.

first of all why the hell would u want to waste time on a stock fuel pump?...come on, u can get a walbro fuel pump for $80 shipped. rather spend $80 then fu<k up my motor!!

Not without raising fuel pressure to some insane rate would you even come close. Anything past 200whp requires a new pump. Beyond that is merely asking for problems. I mean, a new Walbro is less than $100 anyway.
