My Del Sol cigarette Lighter harness/wiring got messed up and I bought an used one from this guy parting out.
Picture shown is what it looks like.
I can't figure out where to attach the circled item.
It is made in copper and I am pretty sure that it needs to be plugged in somewhere. Please help~~

 

it conected to a black wire right

 

se the little tab coming off the metal on the lighter put it there its the ground on the on in my civic hope that helps

That thick black wire wrapped with foam is LED. I don't think it goes there. There is a male/female adapter for the grey plastic piece. I just need to figure out where that coppper tab go....

 

There should be a place on the lighter itself, on the top for it to connect. I believe it's just a ground, at least that's how it is on the Civics.

 

the "copper tab" slides onto the flap metal piece you see at the bottom of the cylinder. its most likely a ground. if you still need help i'll look at mine tomorrow and go from there.
