I'm posting here as i think there are possibly more people that might know the answer, i have a JDM Integra SiVTEC (1994) I have a cat back mugen exhaust and OEM header and a caldo honda hi-flo cat, i was told at a shop that the cat is dying/clogged and so i just want to get a test pipe, i could go and get a straight pipe welded in there using the flanges of the cat, but i need to screw the cat on again for my car test, so i dont want to do that. I live in europe and the cat/test pipes available here are 17" long (i think) my cat is only 14", anyone know where i can get a straight bolt on test pipe for a JDM car. Also because of he shorter cat, i take it i cant buy a header designed for a USDM car or can i?

The other possibility i was thinking of was to buy a USDM header and test pipe and bolting that onto my exhaust system, but i need to know first if the mugen sport exhaust for JDM cars is the same lenght as the one for USDM cars.

Any help on the above will be greatly appreciated as i cant find anyone that can source me the above parts for a JDM car!

 

It might be easiest if you could get someone to fab you one locally.
They would probably have the appropriate flanges at a muffler shop, just need to find one willing to do it for you.

Either that, or get the longer test pipe and have it shortened.

Checked that out, thanks but $209 for a test pipe seems a bit extreme, i'll look around a bit more before i pay that!!

I still need to know if the JDM mugen exhaust is longer than the USDM one?
Do they make the USDM one shorter to take the longer cat, or is the USDM header shorter?

 

The USDM header is shorter, JDM header is longer.
