i just got the jun ecu chip for my gsr ecu and is this serial number correct that is on the chip.

HUH? Serial number on a EPROM chip? Uh.....
I think you need a bit more info about ECU chipping. Hopefully you're not doing this yourself.
What you should have is a 28 pin CMOS EPROM chip.
Where did you buy this from? E-bay?
